THE PLANE
Hi, I’m Miquel and I’m going to talk about the travels on the plane.
The first day we went to the airport of Valencia and we took the plane with
RYANAIR at 11:10. The plane was pretty good, but a little small. One thing I
didn’t like was the price. At 12:00 we arrived in London.
And the Last day we went to the airport of Luton. This airport was bigger
than Valencian’s airport. I liked it much, we bought some things in the duty
free and we took the plane at 21:30.
This plane was bigger and more comfortable than the other one easyjet and
we flew. We had some problems with our luggage but the food was cheaper than in
the other plane.
I will talk about High Park , The British Museum and Buckingham Palace.
BRITISH MUSEUM
Saturday we went to the historic British Museum.
This enormous museum was very boring for an important part of the students, there was no
interaction and all the lounges were giant rooms and there were a lot of different objects. The only
thing that I like of the museum is just the building and its structure.
HIGH PARK
The High Park was impressive. It was a big park with a lot of trees,
animals and a lot of things to do. In this park people do sport, for example
ride their bikes, running... The High Park was a great stay to spend time and the
afternoon in London. Honestly I like it.
Buckingham Palace
I'm going to talk about what we did when we went to the Science Museum and Big Ben and Westminster Bridge.
SCIENCE MUSEUM
First let me talk about what we did when we visited the
Science Museum. We were in the museum for two hours, where we could see
different important objects of history developed by science such as airplanes,
motorcycles, constructions ... and important moments for science during history
like the arrival of the human to the moon.
A funny anecdote from when we visited the Science Museum
was that when we were finishing visiting the museum, we started to see and talk
about a fire extinguisher, as if it were part of the museum's collection. Upon
seeing this, the security guard decided to take us out of the room and we could
not finish seeing the collection when the man arrived in space.
BIG BEN and WESTMINSTER
Now I'm going to talk about our visit to Big Ben and the
Wesrminster Bridge. When we arrived around the Big Ben personally I was very
impressed, as this is a huge building.
But where I had the most fun was at Westminster Bridge,
as we started dancing to the sound of a drums played by a street performer.
For me these were the two
funniest moments of the whole trip to London.
Cambridge
The third day of our trip around United Kingdom, we went to Cambridge
University,a wonderful place were important people like Stepen Hawking or Isaac
Newton had studied, so you can imagine how importante this college is.
In our case, we went with a tour guide and she was really good explaining
small details and sharing her knowledge about the University. She told us about
ritualw that are done for the new and the old students, it consists in:
When you start at university you have to pass the bridge, and when your
degree is finished you have to pass again.
Finally I would like to say that it was a very beautiful experience that i
would recommend to all people specially students.
LONDON NIGHTS
The nights in London were amazing, I keep a fantastic memory of the whole trip but the nights were where I had the best time. We spent 4 nights in the city, I will mainly focus on the last 2 because they were the best. The third night, which is the first one I will tell you about, did not appear to be an unforgettable night because it was supposed to be a night of relaxation in the hotel. However a group of 8 boys and their teacher, among whom I am, we could not avoid going to the streets of that incredible city to live a crazy night. The truth was that it was an unforgettable night, we took the subway and left right at the Big Ben stop and from there we started walking in front of the London Eye and walking many important streets, that night London were empty. We can not forget that it rained us, we spent some jokes and we laughed a lot... the rest of that night is already for the 9 people who did not enter the laziness and went out for a walk that will be difficult to forget.
Finally, I can not get much longer, but I'll tell you what for me was the last night. That night we went out a lot more, after telling the experience of the previous day very few people wanted to miss it. For me it was something different, because having also left the other night with a smaller group and was more intimate, that night we left more than 20 but it was also very funny. We went to the London Bridge, which we had not yet seen, just as the day before, the streets were practically empty. I think walking around a city at night is a totally different way to do it by day. Okay, that night was incredible, but at the same time I felt a sense of sadness, as if the trip was over.
These have been my two experiences of what the London nights meant to me. I recommend that if you travel do not waste time, if you are sleepy and you will rest when you return but the nights you have to take advantage and enjoy them, and if it is with friends much better.
